Hello Pasta24,
Backing up your information and wiping yor disk clean is an option to go. I do believe that may be the easiest route to go. Do you have a Vista DVD? However, you can verify if the additional installation of Vista is installed on its own partition. Simply right click on Computer and go to 'Manage'.
There should an option called 'Disk Management'. Normally if Vista was preinstalled on your computer, it should occupy drive letter (C:). (D:) is normally for CD/DVD or Recovery Partition if available. I would recommend backing up your information externally prior to proceeding. Simply verify the information in here. ***Do not delete anything yet.***
Also click the Start Orb and type 'msconfig'
System Configuration should open. Click the 'Boot' Tab

Once all of the information has been verified. What we will do is Delete the partition that is obsolete. Perhaps extend your C: Volume with the remaining free space. Then delete the Boot Record in the System Configuration 'Boot Tab'. Attempt to boot your computer. If it boots successfully, great. If not, its possible the MBR could need to be repaired. Thats where we would boot to your Vista Disk and attempt to 'Repair Your Computer' and enter into the Command Prompt and type 'bootrec /fixmbr' or b'ootrec /fixboot'.
Either one of these options would take care of your issue. If would please follow up with me at your earliest convenience, I would great appreciate it. Please do not perform any of these task unless you are familar with doing this. I will walk you through the process.
Thank you,
Aaron Griffin
